Speed of Traffic Through the Village and Nettlebridge Hill, Accident Reporting and the State of the Main Road through Stratton on the Fosse

Your Parish Council has been campaigning for many years about the dangers of the main A367 road and connecting roads through our village. In early 2017, we decided to try an alternative approach by writing to our MP, James Heappey, David Fothergill, Somerset County Council Cabinet Member i/c Highways and Sue Mountstevens, Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner. The following documents, in some cases edited to remove sensitive information, take a step by step report through the various meetings which took place and the considerable progress that your Parish Council has made in discussions and actions by the various bodies.
